Threads that Connect: Yin Yoga and Meridians

with Norman Blair & Maitripushpa Bois

12 - 14 February 2026

Course Information

Syllabus

How can we tap into the energy body that is within each of us?

In the quiet, observant space of yin yoga, we have the opportunity to move beyond physical muscular release and sense our subtle energy, whether it is moving or stuck, racing or gently pulsing.

Using the Chinese understanding of energy channels (meridians or ‘threads that connect’), we will become familiar with how the long stays of yin yoga allow a deeper fascial release (where these threads run), unblocking and nourishing these energies, as well as quieting the mind and heart so we can become more aware of our subtle experience.

A thorough explanation of the 12 main channels will be offered, covering their location in our bodies, their qualities/associations of emotion and mind, and the effects movement has on them within a yin practice posture by posture. Each day with include yin practice, talks, pair work, discussion and Q&A.
